The U.S. Consulate General in Karachi has launched the interactive “Road to Liberty” Founders Museum exhibition at Lincoln Corner Karachi, introducing Pakistani students and educators to key moments and principles behind the founding of the United States.
The digital and travelling exhibition forms part of a White House initiative marking 250 years of U.S. independence. It highlights prominent American historical figures and explores ideas including life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
U.S. Consul General Charles Goodman opened the exhibition and highlighted the continued relevance of the principles associated with the founding of the United States.

“The story of America’s founding centers on liberty and natural rights, principles that continue to guide our nation’s journey 250 years later,” he said.
Visitors at the launch used QR codes to access interactive historical content through their mobile phones. Meanwhile, EducationUSA advisers conducted virtual tours of American universities named after several of the Founding Fathers featured in the exhibition.
The exhibition will travel to educational and cultural institutions across the U.S. consular district until December 2026. The programme will include stops in Karachi and Hyderabad.
Each location will offer guided tours, guest lectures or panel discussions aimed at encouraging learning and cross-cultural dialogue.
Lincoln Corners operate through partnerships between the U.S. Mission to Pakistan and local universities, public libraries and cultural institutions. The centres provide free access to educational resources, English-language programmes and opportunities for cultural exchange.
The Road to Liberty exhibition aims to give young Pakistanis an interactive way to explore U.S. history while learning about the ideas that have influenced the country’s development.
