Shahzad Sabir, the newly elected Governor of Rotary International District 3271 (Pakistan), was honoured by the Karachi Timber Merchants Group during a luncheon held at the Secretariat Timber Market in Karachi.
The event brought together business leaders and Rotary representatives to congratulate Shahzad Sabir on his election and recognise his contribution to community service and leadership. During the ceremony, the Karachi Timber Merchants Group presented him with a commemorative shield.
Among those attending the event were Suleman Soomro, President of the Karachi Timber Merchants Group; Saeed Baghatia, Senior Member of the group; Rehan Hanif, President of the Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI); Mansoor Kadwani, former Vice President of the Karachi Timber Merchants Group; and Syed Turab Shah, Chairman of Media Affairs for Rotary International District 3271.
The participants extended their best wishes to Shahzad Sabir and expressed confidence in his leadership as Governor of Rotary International District 3271. They also acknowledged the importance of strengthening cooperation between the business community and service organisations to promote social welfare and community development.
The luncheon concluded with a group photograph and renewed commitment from participants to support Rotary’s humanitarian and community service initiatives across Pakistan.
