KARACHI: The second day of “Xtreme ’26,” a high-tech student event organized by the Aligarh Institute of Technology (AIT) Karachi, was marked by the special presence of Chairman Sindh Board of Technical Education (SBTE) Musharraf Ali Rajput, who praised the creativity and technical skills of young participants.

The event attracted more than 400 students who actively participated in a wide range of competitions and technology-based activities, creating a vibrant and energetic environment on campus.

Students competed in popular gaming categories including PUBG, FIFA, Free Fire, Counter-Strike, Chess, and Scrabble. Alongside gaming, the event also featured technical competitions such as web designing, prompt engineering, and game development, where participants showcased strong innovation and practical skills.

Speaking as chief guest, Musharraf Ali Rajput said that Aligarh Institute of Technology is among the leading technical education institutions in Sindh and that events like Xtreme provide an important platform for students to demonstrate their creative and technical abilities.

He added that such initiatives play a key role in guiding youth toward positive and productive careers while preparing them to meet future technological challenges. He also interacted with students and participated in selected activities, encouraging their enthusiasm.

Principal AIT Shahid Jamil appreciated the efforts of faculty heads from different departments, including SET, CIT, and AI, for successfully organizing the event and creating an engaging learning environment.

Convener AIT Syed Muhammad Mohsin Kazim said the institution is committed to providing platforms where students can not only learn but also practically demonstrate their skills in real-world scenarios.

According to organizers, “Xtreme ’26” continues to serve as a dynamic blend of technology, creativity, and youth engagement, highlighting the growing importance of digital skills in education.

The event will continue on its third day with additional competitions including painting, shooting, and programming, further expanding opportunities for student participation and talent development.
