Karachi: PTCL Group — Pakistan’s largest telecommunications and integrated ICT services provider — has expanded its partnership with Mercantile, Apple’s authorized distributor and service provider in Pakistan, to offer Apple’s complete product range to enterprise customers nationwide.

The agreement was signed during GITEX Global 2025 in Dubai by Asif Ahmad, Group Chief Business Solutions Officer, PTCL & Ufone 4G, and Nauman Durrani, CEO Pakistan, SVP Sage – Mercantile, in the presence of Hatem Bamatraf, President & Group CEO, PTCL & Ufone 4G, along with senior officials from both organizations.

The strategic collaboration aims to expand access to Apple’s cutting-edge technology, enhance customer support services, and strengthen go-to-market initiatives through joint campaigns. The partnership also introduces innovative financing solutions through a Device as a Service (DaaS) model, enabling organizations to adopt the latest technology with reduced upfront costs.

Commenting on the development, Asif Ahmad said, “We are glad to expand our partnership to enhance access to Apple’s cutting-edge technology for our business customers. By embedding the DaaS framework, we are making enterprise mobility smarter, scalable, and financially viable. This initiative reflects PTCL Group’s confidence in the power of technology to transform businesses.”

Nauman Durrani added, “We are happy to extend Apple’s high-quality products to Pakistan’s business community through PTCL Group’s nationwide network. Apple’s innovation and customer trust can accelerate Pakistan’s enterprise digitisation journey. The shared vision of Mercantile and PTCL Group — with the support of the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) — underscores our commitment to advancing Pakistan’s digital future.”

This partnership enables PTCL Group to blend global technology leadership with innovative service delivery, further accelerating the digital transformation of Pakistan’s enterprise sector and contributing to the nation’s digital economy goals.
