KARACHI, September 21, 2026: Jaffer Business Systems (JBS) and Mercantile have announced a strategic partnership to expand access to official Apple products for businesses across Pakistan, combining Apple’s enterprise technology ecosystem with JBS’s experience in complex IT environments.
Under the agreement, JBS will become Mercantile’s Preferred Partner for Enterprise in Pakistan and add Apple products to its existing compute portfolio. The move expands JBS’s offering beyond data centers and infrastructure to include workplace and handheld devices.
The companies said the partnership will provide organizations with a structured way to adopt, manage and support Apple technology within their existing IT environments. Enterprise customers will be able to work with JBS beyond the initial purchase, with support covering deployment, device management, ongoing services and the broader lifecycle of their Apple devices.

The offering will include support for Apple Business, Automated Device Enrolment, Managed Apple Accounts and device management guidance. Customers will also have access to warranty and after-sales services through Mercantile and Mercantile Care.
Veqar ul Islam, CEO of JBS, said the partnership would help the company complete its broader technology offering as AI infrastructure increasingly connects with devices used by employees.

“As AI data centers continue to evolve and intelligence moves closer to everyday devices, JBS is completing its compute story, extending from data centers and infrastructure to the devices people use every day,” he said.
Ul Islam said AI-native organizations require more than AI models, including secure infrastructure, managed endpoints, trained employees and controlled access to technology. He added that JBS’s existing presence across Windows platforms, combined with the Apple ecosystem through Mercantile, would allow the company to support customers across both platforms.
Nauman Durrani, CEO Pakistan and SVP SAGE at Mercantile, said the company aims to strengthen authorized access to Apple products and increase confidence in enterprise adoption and after-sales services.
“By partnering with JBS as our enterprise partner, we are bringing together Mercantile’s authorized Apple ecosystem with JBS’s experience of working with complex enterprise technology environments,” Durrani said.
The companies said the partnership will give enterprise customers a more structured route to adopting Apple technology at scale while helping them manage and maintain devices over time.
Pakistan’s IT exports have reached around $4.6 billion, according to the companies, and they said continued growth in the sector requires local businesses to access modern enterprise technology environments comparable to those used by international competitors.
The partnership is expected to support the adoption of workplace and handheld technology alongside existing enterprise infrastructure, with the companies highlighting potential benefits for productivity, digital adoption and Pakistan’s wider digital economy.
