Pakistan’s benchmark KSE-100 Index opened higher on Thursday, recovering part of the losses recorded in the previous trading session.
The index was trading at 168,452.66 points, up 430.86 points, or 0.26%, from Wednesday’s close of 168,021.80 points.
During early trading, the KSE-100 reached an intraday high of 169,151.18 points and a low of 168,222.91 points.
Trading volume stood at 17.43 million shares during the session.
Market Recovers After Wednesday’s Decline
The latest gains follow a sharp decline on Wednesday.

On September 16, the KSE-100 Index fell 1,370.52 points, or 0.81%, to close at 168,021.80 points.
Thursday’s early recovery indicates renewed buying interest after the previous session’s sell-off, although the index remained below the levels seen before Wednesday’s decline.
