The Karachi Office of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea, in collaboration with the Karachi office of the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA), will organise K-Festival 2026 at LuckyOne Mall from November 13 to 15.
The three-day event aims to strengthen cultural, economic and people-to-people ties between Pakistan and South Korea by bringing Korean products, entertainment and cultural experiences to Karachi.
Speaking at a press conference at his residence in DHA, Korean Consul General Joohoon Kim said the festival would feature an exhibition of Korean consumer products alongside a range of cultural activities and live performances.
Korean Products and Cultural Experiences
The festival will run from Friday, November 13, to Sunday, November 15, featuring a K-Beauty and K-Lifestyle showcase and cultural experiences.
The main activities on Sunday, November 15, will begin with an opening ceremony at 4:30pm, followed by a performance from Korean band nuMori and the K-Pop Festival, titled KTS (Karachi to Seoul).

Several Korean companies, including Samsung Electronics and Lotte Kolson, will participate alongside 14 local premium distribution networks and vendors.
A total of nine booths will showcase Korean consumer products, including cosmetics, food, household goods, automotive accessories and electronic devices.
Visitors will also have opportunities to explore Korean cultural displays and experience wearing hanbok, the country’s traditional clothing.
Korean Band nuMori to Perform in Karachi
One of the festival’s main attractions will be a special performance by nuMori, a Korean band invited from South Korea.
The group performs what is known as “Electro Gugak”, combining traditional Korean music with contemporary K-pop and rock influences.
Since its debut in 2016, nuMori has gained international recognition, including through an invited performance at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in the United States.
According to the Consul General, the band combines musical expertise, experimental production and energetic stage performances to create a distinctive sound that connects Korean traditions with modern music.
Beyond K-Festival, nuMori will also represent South Korea at the World Culture Festival organised by the Arts Council of Karachi on November 16 at 8:00pm.
Nine Teams to Compete in K-Pop Festival
Following nuMori’s performance on November 15, the K-Pop Festival, titled KTS (Karachi to Seoul), will bring together nine teams competing in vocal and dance categories.
The participating teams qualified through preliminary auditions.
Organisers will award Korean electronic products to the first-, second- and third-place winners following the judges’ evaluation.
Promoting Pakistan-South Korea Relations
The Karachi Office of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea hopes the festival will give Korean culture enthusiasts in Karachi an opportunity to experience South Korean traditions, entertainment and consumer products firsthand.
The organisers also aim to create greater opportunities for cultural exchange, strengthen mutual understanding and encourage closer connections between people in Pakistan and South Korea.
