Israeli forces demolished the home of Palestinian prisoner Dawas Hassoun in the occupied West Bank on Thursday, according to local sources cited by Anadolu.
The sources said Israeli troops raided the town, surrounded Hassoun’s house and later blew up the building, causing material damage. The operation followed a raid on the Hassoun family home a day earlier, when residents were reportedly ordered to leave as Israeli forces closed roads leading to the property.
Hassoun was arrested in March 2026 and is accused by Israeli authorities of killing an Israeli about six months earlier. Details of the case and the allegations were not independently verified in the report.
Separately, local sources said settlers burned two vehicles and sprayed racist and hostile slogans on property during an attack on the village of Attara, north of Ramallah.

The sources said Attara has faced repeated attacks in recent months, alongside the establishment of a settlement outpost near Palestinian homes.
The occupied West Bank has experienced intensified Israeli military operations and settler violence since the Gaza war began in October 2023. Palestinian officials and rights groups have also reported expanded settlement activity, new roads and tighter restrictions on Palestinian movement during the period.
