Karachi: A philanthropic evening titled “Aik Sham Indus Kay Nam” was held in Karachi on February 13, 2026, bringing together corporate leaders and philanthropists in support of the Indus Hospital & Health Network (IHHN).

The event was hosted by Danish Aman, Member – Corporate Ambassador and Resource Generation Committee at IHHN, with Bank Alfalah as co-host.

Chief Guest Lauds Healthcare Contribution

Faisal Amin, Commander Coast, Pakistan Navy, attended as chief guest and commended the role of Indus Hospital & Health Network in delivering quality healthcare to underserved communities.

He said institutions like IHHN are vital to strengthening Pakistan’s healthcare system by ensuring access to treatment regardless of a patient’s financial background. He also praised the organisation’s commitment to transparency, clinical excellence and compassionate service, describing it as a model of humanitarian dedication.

Leadership Highlights Network’s Impact

Dr Abdul Bari Khan, Founding President of IHHN, thanked donors and supporters for their continued trust and generosity. He emphasised that philanthropic contributions remain central to sustaining the network’s mission of providing free, high-quality healthcare services.

Syed Mashhood Rizvi, Executive Director – Communication & Resource Generation Directorate, presented an overview of IHHN’s nationwide impact. He highlighted the critical role of corporate partnerships and donor contributions in expanding access to healthcare facilities and services across Pakistan.

Akhtar Aziz, Co-Founder of IHHN, along with other senior leadership members, also attended the event.

Corporate Sector Reaffirms Commitment

Representatives from leading corporations participated in the evening and pledged financial support toward sustaining free medical treatment offered by the network.

Organisers said the event underscored the continued engagement of Pakistan’s corporate sector and philanthropic community in strengthening healthcare accessibility and advancing IHHN’s mission to serve marginalised populations.

Advancing Free Healthcare Nationwide

Indus Hospital & Health Network operates multiple healthcare facilities across Pakistan, offering services free of cost to patients. Through partnerships and donor support, the organisation continues to expand its reach and enhance service delivery standards.

The evening concluded with renewed commitments to furthering the network’s legacy of providing equitable healthcare to those most in need.
