KARACHI/AMMAN: SKT Welfare has completed a humanitarian mission to Jordan to support Palestinians displaced from Gaza, including patients receiving medical treatment away from home.
The delegation included SKT Welfare humanitarian workers and prominent Pakistani actors. The visiting group included Javed Sheikh, Khaled Anam, Saba Hamid, Shagufta Ejaz, Kubra Khan, Gohar Rasheed, Ahmed Ali Akbar, Ally Khan and Nabeel Zafar, according to a statement issued by SKT Welfare.
The team worked alongside local staff at the SKT Welfare warehouse. They packed food cartons and delivered 500 essential food parcels to displaced Palestinian families.
The delegation also visited Palestinians injured in the conflict. Team members met patients in hospitals and at their homes. They offered emotional support and listened to families facing difficult circumstances.
The team also organised an afternoon of activities for children from Gaza. The event included games and a hot meal, providing children with a brief respite from the hardships of displacement.
Support for Gaza Patients in Jordan
Palestinians evacuated from Gaza for medical treatment face challenges far from home. They need safe accommodation, nutritious meals and reliable transport to medical appointments.
SKT Welfare said it provides these services throughout the year. Its support includes accommodation, meals and transportation for patients receiving treatment in Jordan.
The organisation also highlighted its humanitarian work in Jordan during 2025. Volunteers distributed food parcels and hygiene kits across refugee camps. The programmes supported approximately 76,000 people, according to SKT Welfare.
“Humanitarian response means staying connected to people as their circumstances change,” SKT Welfare CEO Asif Hussain said.
“For some families, that means support inside Gaza. For others, it means support in Jordan, where they have come for treatment. This week, our team met families directly, heard what they needed and acted on it,” he added.

Continued Aid Inside Gaza
The Jordan mission forms part of SKT Welfare’s wider international humanitarian programme. The organisation provides food assistance, medical support and other essential services to communities affected by conflict and displacement.
SKT Welfare said its teams inside Gaza continue to deliver food, hot meals and clean water. They also provide medical assistance, hygiene supplies and emergency shelter.
In 2025, the organisation said its programmes reached more than 350,000 people inside Gaza. This included 225,450 people who received support through clean water deliveries.
SKT Welfare said it remains committed to supporting Palestinians both inside Gaza and those displaced to Jordan.
