Pakistani Leaders and Community Celebrate Historic Cricket Victory in Florida

Lauderhill: Federal Minister for Interior and Narcotics Control, and Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board, Syed Mohsin Naqvi, joined Cricket Council USA CEO/Chairman Muhammad MAQ Qureshi, Raza Naqvi, and Federal Minister for Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development, Chaudhry Salik Hussain, to celebrate Pakistan’s historic cricket victory against the West Indies.
The celebratory event featured the cutting of a victory cake and brought together prominent Pakistani and American community figures. Notable attendees included renowned Pakistani-American politician Tahir Javed; Mian Tahir Ismail, President of the Islamic Center of Greater Miami; Dr. Asim Asad, Director of ICNA Social Justice USA; leading South Florida businessman Mian Mushtaq; Raees Ahmad, Director of JRJ Innovations; Amin Markatia, CEO of Azaan Holdings; Ahsan Asad, Board Member of ICNA Social Justice; and Musharaf Khan, Director of Asiantimes USA Media Group.
The gathering highlighted unity, pride, and community spirit as participants honored Pakistan’s sporting achievement on international soil. The event also underscored the growing influence and active involvement of the Pakistani diaspora in both cultural and sporting celebrations in the United States.
