Karachi Robbery investigators have launched a probe after an armed gang allegedly looted gold, silver and other valuables worth millions of rupees from a house in Karachi’s Gadap Town.
According to a complaint filed by the affected family, eight armed suspects arrived on four motorcycles and forced their way into the house. The robbers held family members hostage at gunpoint before carrying out the robbery.

The family told police that the suspects escaped with 175 tolas of gold, valued at approximately Rs75.8 million, and 300 tolas of silver, worth around Rs2.04 million. The robbers also took laptops, luxury watches and children’s belongings before fleeing the scene.
Police said investigators reached the site shortly after the incident and have begun collecting evidence while examining all aspects of the case to identify and arrest those involved.
Sindh Home Minister Zia-ul-Hassan Lanjar took notice of the incident and directed the SSP Malir to submit an immediate report.
The home minister also instructed police to arrest the suspects at the earliest and recover the stolen valuables, stressing that those responsible should be brought to justice.
