Karachi: The Asian Institute of Fashion Design (AIFD), a premier institute under Iqra University, unveiled the creative brilliance of its graduating students at the Annual Thesis Display 2025. The event spotlighted the work of over 100 students from its three flagship departments, highlighting AIFD’s mission to shape the future of Pakistan’s fashion industry.
Fashion Design: Tradition Meets Modernity
The Fashion Design department impressed audiences with bold, conceptual collections. These showcased a fusion of traditional craftsmanship with modern aesthetics, drawing inspiration from heritage, sustainability, and global trends. Each collection told a unique story, reflecting deep research and creative vision.
Textile Design: Innovation Through Fabric
Textile Design students exhibited cutting-edge surface techniques, experimental material use, and striking print development. The displays ranged from eco-conscious designs to futuristic fabric concepts, demonstrating the department’s emphasis on innovation and sustainability.
Fashion Marketing & Merchandising: Bridging Creativity and Commerce
The Fashion Marketing & Merchandising department presented brand strategies, consumer research, and innovative retail campaigns. These projects highlighted the students’ ability to connect creativity with commercial impact in today’s fast-paced fashion world.
