Scrabble Pakistan Wins World Youth Team Title for Seventh Time

Scrabble players from Pakistan delivered a standout performance at the 21st World Youth Scrabble Championship, winning the world team title for the seventh time.

Pakistan also collected the highest number of trophies at the championship. Ahmad Salman won the Under-16 world title, while Ahed Sault Fatimi became the Under-14 world champion.

Meanwhile, Taimur Waseem claimed the Under-10 world championship. Mustafa Farhan finished as the runner-up in the Under-12 category.

The strong results continued across the individual competitions. Three Pakistani players secured places among the overall top 10.

In addition, Ayan Hassan Khan produced the highest-scoring word of the championship. Azam Siddiqui also recorded the highest score in a single match.

The young players’ performance has further strengthened Pakistan’s reputation in international competitive Scrabble. Moreover, their success highlights the country’s growing depth of youth talent in the sport.

Pakistan’s seventh world team title also underlines its sustained presence at the World Youth Scrabble Championship. The latest results add another significant achievement to the country’s international Scrabble record.
