A US business delegation from Houston, Texas, visited Mazar-e-Quaid in Karachi and paid tribute to Pakistan’s founder, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.
The delegation was hosted by Mahmood Ahmed Khan, Managing Director of Star Marketing (Pvt) Ltd, and Syed Turab Shah, Convener of the FPCCI Central Standing Committee on Corporate Relations and Communication.
Led by Dr Mubashir Chaudhry, Chief Executive Officer of USP Corporate, the delegation included Vice President Pearl Vuobinen, Corporate Compliance Manager Alessandra Lin Mi and Captain (Retd) TI(M) PN Sajid Mahmood, Deputy Director of Iqra University Airport Campus.
The visitors offered Fateha and laid a floral wreath at Jinnah’s mausoleum. They also offered prayers for Pakistan’s development, prosperity and stability.
Dr Mubashir Chaudhry and other delegation members paid tribute to Jinnah’s vision and leadership and acknowledged his historic struggle for the creation of Pakistan.

The delegation members said Jinnah’s principles and legacy continue to hold significance for Pakistan and its people.
The visit also focused on strengthening trade and business relations between Pakistan and the United States. Delegation members discussed potential avenues for investment, partnerships and cooperation across different sectors.
Mahmood Ahmed Khan welcomed the delegation and highlighted the role overseas Pakistanis and the international business community could play in supporting Pakistan’s economic development.
He said overseas Pakistanis could contribute through investment, business partnerships and broader economic cooperation.
The Houston delegation is visiting Pakistan to explore business relationships, mutual cooperation and commercial opportunities in different sectors. The visitors also expressed interest in the country’s historical and national heritage during their engagement.
The visit concluded with an emphasis on expanding business cooperation, exploring investment opportunities and strengthening economic ties between Pakistan and the United States.
