The bike has no pedals, motor or brakes. Children move it using their feet. It features a lightweight magnesium frame and a modern design. The seat also offers five adjustable height settings.
Despite its premium price, the balance bike sold out soon after launch. Tesla’s $30 branded T-shirt also sold out quickly, reflecting strong customer demand.
The company said pre-orders for the next batch will begin on July 31. It encouraged customers to place orders early because availability will remain limited.
Most balance bikes cost around $100, making Tesla’s model considerably more expensive than many competing products.
Tesla previously launched the Cyberquad for Kids. However, the company temporarily suspended its sales after the vehicle failed to meet certain safety standards.
