Pakistan Idol finalist Tarab Nafees has praised the popular singing competition for giving young artists a platform to showcase their talent and pursue careers in the music industry.
Speaking at a private gathering, Tarab described Pakistan Idol as more than a television competition. She said it identifies, nurtures and promotes talented singers from across Pakistan, regardless of their background.

“I sincerely appreciate Pakistan Idol for providing emerging musicians the opportunity to pursue their dreams. For many talented individuals, this platform serves as a gateway to the music industry and allows them to share their passion with millions of people,” she said.
Tarab revealed that she stepped away from music for several years to focus on her education. However, she said Pakistan Idol inspired her to return to the stage and rediscover her passion for singing.
She described reaching the final stages of the competition as a memorable achievement. Moreover, she said the experience improved her vocal skills, strengthened her confidence and helped her grow as a performer with every appearance.
Tarab also thanked the judges, mentors, production team and organizers for their professionalism and continuous support throughout the competition.
“I am deeply thankful to the judges for their valuable guidance and constructive feedback, and to the entire production team for creating such a professional environment where contestants can perform at their best,” she said.
Furthermore, she expressed gratitude to her supporters in Pakistan and overseas for their encouragement, prayers and unwavering support during the competition.
“The messages, prayers and unwavering support from people across the country have been my greatest source of motivation. I am truly grateful to everyone who has believed in me and stood by me throughout this journey,” she added.
Looking ahead, Tarab reaffirmed her commitment to music. She said she hopes to continue refining her craft and one day represent Pakistan on the international stage.
She also emphasized that platforms like Pakistan Idol play an important role in strengthening Pakistan’s music industry by discovering fresh talent and inspiring the next generation of artists to pursue their dreams with confidence.
