Karachi: Ambassador of Zimbabwe, Titus M. J. Abu Basutu, called on Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tessori at Governor House on Thursday. The meeting focused on enhancing bilateral diplomatic relations, trade cooperation, and mutual investment opportunities between Pakistan and Zimbabwe.

Zimbabwe to Open Honorary Consulate in Karachi
During the meeting, Ambassador Basutu officially invited Governor Tessori to attend the inauguration ceremony of Zimbabwe’s Honorary Consulate in Karachi as the chief guest. The Governor accepted the invitation with appreciation, expressing support for initiatives that strengthen ties with African nations.

Governor Tessori Emphasizes Investment Potential
Governor Tessori highlighted Pakistan’s potential for foreign investment, particularly in Sindh. He encouraged African countries, including Zimbabwe, to explore trade and investment prospects in Pakistan. He also stressed the importance of fostering stronger people-to-people and commercial relations.

Commitment to Enhanced Cooperation
Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to expanding diplomatic engagement and enhancing cooperation across sectors such as trade, development, and cultural exchange. The meeting concluded on a positive note, with mutual agreement to deepen bilateral ties.
