President Zardari, Saudi Envoy Discuss Boosting Ties

Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari met with the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Pakistan, Mr. Nawaf bin Said Al-Malki, at Aiwan-e-Sadr on Thursday. The meeting focused on enhancing bilateral cooperation, particularly in trade, economy, and cultural exchange. Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi also attended the meeting.

Deep-Rooted Ties and Shared Vision
Welcoming the ambassador, President Zardari emphasized that Pakistan and Saudi Arabia enjoy historic and deep-rooted ties built on shared faith, mutual trust, and longstanding brotherhood. He underscored the need to strengthen and diversify bilateral relations for the benefit of both nations.

Call for Enhanced Saudi Investment in Pakistan
Highlighting Pakistan’s investor-friendly environment, the President invited Saudi investors to explore opportunities in various sectors of the Pakistani economy. He noted the shared perspectives of both countries on regional and global matters and their continued cooperation in multilateral forums.

Gratitude for Continued Support
President Zardari expressed appreciation for Saudi Arabia’s unwavering support during Pakistan’s times of need. He also requested the ambassador to convey his warm greetings and best wishes to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
