Pakistan Day Celebrated in Ankara with National Spirit

Ankara: The Embassy of Pakistan in Ankara commemorated Pakistan Day with a dignified ceremony at its Chancery, reflecting national pride and unity among the Pakistani community in Türkiye.
The event commenced with Tilawat-e-Quran, followed by the hoisting of the national flag and the playing of the national anthem, creating a solemn and patriotic atmosphere.
Messages from Asif Ali Zardari and Shehbaz Sharif were read out, highlighting the historical significance of the day and reaffirming Pakistan’s commitment to unity, democracy, and progress.
Addressing the gathering, Pakistan’s Ambassador to Türkiye, Dr. Yousuf Junaid, underscored the importance of Lahore Resolution, which laid the foundation for the creation of Pakistan.
He said the occasion serves as a reminder of the vision, leadership, and determination of the founding generation, and the resilience demonstrated by the nation during challenging times.
The ambassador emphasized that sustainable development and national stability require collective effort, unity, and continued commitment. He noted that the spirit of 1940 continues to guide Pakistan’s journey toward peace, economic growth, and prosperity.
The ceremony concluded with special prayers for Pakistan’s security, stability, and well-being, reaffirming solidarity with the homeland among the diaspora community in Türkiye.
