Pakistan Textile Journal Hosts ITMA Asia + CITME Exhibition Awareness Event

Pakistan Textile Journal, a leading source of textile industry news and information, hosted a presentation and awareness event in Karachi on July 26.
The primary objective of this awareness dinner and presentation was to shed light on the upcoming ITMA Asia + CITME exhibition, scheduled to be held in Shanghai from 14 – 18 October 2024. This collaborative effort involving CEMATEX, CTMA, CCPIT TEX, and CIEC, will showcase cutting-edge advancements in global textile machinery and technology in NECC Exhibition Center.
The event was also promoted live on YouTube at Pakistan Textile Journal official channel, and was attended by more than 125 guests, representatives from leading textile mills, chambers of commerce and industry, as well as textile machinery experts and media personalities The notable guests of honour were K.M. Khalid, General Secretary of TEXMAP, Mr. Aarij Iqbal, President of the Italian Development Committee and Ms. Sophia Al Khawar Head of Corporate Relation, Gerry’s Visa Services.
Mr. Gu Ping, President of China Textile Machinery Association and Chairman of Beijing Textile Machinery International Exhibition Co. Ltd. for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT TEX), delivered a warm welcome address during the event. He emphasized the significance of ITMA Asia + CITME as a crucial global textile exhibition and invited industry professionals to participate in the event in Shanghai.
Highlighting the commonalities between China and Pakistan as leading exporters in the textile industry, Mr. Gu Ping expressed his hope for deeper cooperation and mutual benefits. The textile industry, he noted, remains a vital contributor to both nations’ economies and employment.
Mr. Alex Zucchi, President CEMATEX (Co-Owner of the ITMA Asia + CITME) also joined the event via video, he shared crucial insights and shared why the ITMA Asia + CITME is the most important exhibition in Asia and why Pakistan simply cannot afford to miss it.

Mr. Nadeem Mazhar, Senior Editor and Publisher at Pakistan Textile Journal gave an insightful presentation on the event which highlighted the importance of ITMA Asia + CITME Exhibition and cleared many doubts regarding the visitors of Exhibition to Shanghai, China.
Ms. Sophia Al Khawar also addressed the attendees and shared that the interested visitors to ITMA Asia + CITME Exhibition will be provided VIP Lounge access and a dedicated team to answer all the needs of the visitors, as well as additional services to facilitate a smoother visa application to parties interested in visiting the exhibition.
The successful promotional event concluded with high motivation to visit the ITMA ASIA + CITME and vote of thanks by the Pakistan Textile Journal team and a dinner.
