The Pakistan Stock Exchange opened the week on a negative note, with the benchmark KSE-100 Index falling below the 175,000-point level during early trading.
The index declined more than 800 points to reach 174,470 points, signalling selling pressure at the beginning of Monday’s session.
The KSE-100 Index had closed at 175,328 points on the final trading day of the previous week.
