Karachi: Sindh Senior Minister and Provincial Minister for Local Government, Syed Nasir Hussain Shah, paid glowing tribute to the people of Pakistan, the armed forces, martyrs, and war veterans on the first anniversary of the victory of “Marka-e-Haq,” describing it as a historic milestone that demonstrated Pakistan’s military strength, national unity, and unwavering resolve against external aggression.
In a special message issued on Friday, the provincial minister said May 10, 2025, would forever be remembered in golden words in the nation’s history, as Pakistan’s armed forces successfully defeated the enemy’s aggression and shattered what he termed the arrogance of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the global hype surrounding Rafale fighter jets.
He stated that the success of “Marka-e-Haq” reflected the courage, professionalism, and strategic capabilities of the Pakistan Armed Forces, while also highlighting the spirit of sacrifice and patriotism shown by the Pakistani nation during difficult times.
Syed Nasir Hussain Shah praised President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, and Field Marshal Asim Munir for their leadership, wisdom, and strategic decision-making, saying their role enhanced Pakistan’s image and standing at the international level.
The minister also acknowledged the diplomatic efforts of Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, stating that the PPP chairman effectively presented Pakistan’s position before the global community after Marka-e-Haq and highlighted the country’s principled stance on peace, sovereignty, and national security.
He emphasized that the people of Pakistan have always rendered unmatched sacrifices for the defense of the homeland and continue to stand shoulder to shoulder with the armed forces. According to him, the victory of Marka-e-Haq sent a clear message to the world that Pakistan would never compromise on its sovereignty, territorial integrity, or national dignity.
Syed Nasir Hussain Shah said the sacrifices of martyrs and war veterans remain the nation’s greatest pride and must always be remembered with honor and respect. He added that the victory has become a symbol of courage, patriotism, and unity for future generations, urging the youth to further strengthen the spirit of discipline, harmony, and love for the country.
He reiterated that Pakistan is a peace-loving nation but warned that no compromise can ever be made on the defense and security of the motherland. He further said that the collective strength, unity, and patriotism of the Pakistani people have always defeated hostile designs against the country.
The senior minister concluded by calling the anniversary of Marka-e-Haq a day of national pride and renewed commitment, urging the nation to work together for Pakistan’s stability, prosperity, peace, and progress.
