Operation Shaaban continues across Balochistan as the Pakistan Army, Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan and police intensify coordinated operations against militants following the deadly attack in the Mangi Dam area.

According to security sources, forces are conducting sustained aerial and ground operations against Fitna al-Khawarij in several parts of the province. Authorities launched the campaign after terrorists attacked police personnel on July 7, killing 27 officers in the Mangi Dam area.
Security sources said the latest operations killed four more militants. As a result, the total number of militants killed during Operation Shaaban has risen to 83.
The sources added that security forces will continue the operation until they eliminate all militants operating in the affected areas.
Meanwhile, intelligence-based operations are continuing alongside the broader military campaign. The Pakistan Army, FC Balochistan and police are jointly leading the ongoing operation.
Earlier, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi praised the Pakistan Army, FC Balochistan and police for conducting effective aerial and ground operations against militants. He commended the security forces for their continued efforts to improve security in the province.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also reaffirmed the government’s commitment to eliminating terrorism. He said Pakistan’s civil and military leadership had jointly decided to continue operations against militant groups operating in Balochistan.
