British actor Noah Jupe is joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe with a mystery role in Avengers: Secret Wars, according to Deadline.
Marvel Studios has cast Jupe in the upcoming superhero film, which is expected to begin production later this year. Details of his character remain secret, but the role is reportedly expected to play a significant part in the story.
Marvel Studios has not publicly commented on the casting.
From Romeo & Juliet to Marvel
The casting news follows Jupe’s recent West End appearance opposite Sadie Sink in a revival of Romeo & Juliet.
The production received positive reviews during its run, further raising Jupe’s profile on stage and screen.

Anthony and Joe Russo will direct Avengers: Secret Wars. The brothers previously directed Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame.
Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige will produce the film, which is scheduled to reach cinemas on December 17, 2027.
The movie will follow Avengers: Doomsday and is expected to play a major role in the next phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
