Mir Raza Case Judicial Commission Begins Proceedings, Vows Thorough Probe

Mir Raza case proceedings have begun before a judicial commission headed by Justice Umar Sial, who assured the victim’s family that the matter would receive a thorough examination.

Mir Raza’s parents and lawyer appeared before the commission during its first proceedings. Justice Umar Sial expressed condolences to the family and said he would make every effort to help address their concerns.

The commission chairman said it would examine all questions raised by the family. He said the review would cover the surgeon’s role, the police investigation, available evidence and other relevant aspects of the case.

Justice Umar Sial also urged the family to place their trust in the commission. He said he believed the commission’s proceedings should be made public and confirmed that the investigation team was continuing its work.

Mir Raza’s father told the commission that 29 days had passed since the incident, but the family had yet to see significant progress in the case.

Justice Umar Sial referred to the commission formed during the investigation into the Murtaza Bhutto murder case. He said the Mir Raza case was not only about one individual but also concerned everyone seeking justice.

The commission will continue examining the circumstances surrounding Mir Raza’s death and the progress of the investigation.
