Khuzdar Operation Zardari, Shehbaz Praise Security Forces After 10 Terrorists Killed

The Khuzdar operation has drawn praise from President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif after security forces killed 10 terrorists in an intelligence-based operation.

In separate statements, the president and prime minister praised the security forces for their timely action and operational success. They said the operation demonstrated the forces’ professional skills and expertise.

Both leaders also reaffirmed the government’s resolve to eliminate terrorism. They said the entire nation stands united with the security forces in the fight against militancy.

Security forces target terrorist hideouts

Earlier, security forces launched the intelligence-based operation in the Shor Parod mountain range of Khuzdar. Intelligence information helped authorities locate suspected terrorist hideouts in the area.

Security forces then cordoned off the area and launched operations at several locations. According to security sources, the terrorists had divided themselves into three small groups.

As the forces advanced, the militants opened fire. Security personnel responded and engaged the terrorists in an intense exchange of fire.

The operation resulted in the deaths of 10 terrorists. Several others also suffered injuries, according to security sources.

Security forces also cleared several suspected terrorist hideouts during the operation.

Security measures remain in place

Security forces continue to monitor the area for possible terrorist movement. Authorities are also taking additional measures to prevent further attacks and address potential security threats.

President Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz said the successful operation showed the security forces’ determination to protect the country.

They also reiterated their commitment to supporting efforts aimed at eliminating terrorism from Pakistan.
