Ivorian Doctors’ Delegation Visits Ivory Coast Consulate in Karachi

Karachi: A 21-member delegation of doctors from Ivory Coast visited the Consulate of Ivory Coast in Karachi, where they were welcomed by Consul Fazal Karim Dadabhoy.
Dadabhoy extended good wishes to the delegation, describing the visit as a step toward strengthening the longstanding friendship between Pakistan and Ivory Coast. He said such exchanges enhance goodwill, mutual understanding and professional linkages between the two nations.
Highlighting the potential for greater bilateral trade, he noted that current trade between Pakistan and Ivory Coast stands at around 0 million but could be significantly expanded. “There exists vast potential to build upon our complementarities and explore new avenues of collaboration,” he said.
He also pointed to recent initiatives such as the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan’s rice festival in Abidjan as evidence of Pakistan’s commitment to deepening economic engagement. Under the government’s Focus Africa Policy, Pakistan aims to strengthen ties with Ivory Coast across multiple sectors, including health and trade.
The visit concluded in a spirit of friendship and cooperation, underscoring both countries’ shared commitment to expanding their partnership.
