IV International Vladivostok Regatta Set to Challenge Rowers from Around the World

Vladivostok, Russia : From September 4 to 6, the IV International Vladivostok Regatta will take place as part of the Eastern Economic Forum, showcasing elite rowing competitions.

Events at the regatta include:

  • Coastal rowing over 1000 meters
  • Indoor rowing over 2000 meters
  • Relay race 4×500 meters

According to Alexey Svirin, President of the Russian Rowing Federation, one of the main goals of the event for Russian athletes is to gain experience in the new Olympic discipline of coastal rowing.

In addition to athletes from Russia and Belarus, participants are expected from Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Cuba, China, Iran, Pakistan, Armenia, and Afghanistan, highlighting the international nature of the event.
