A basketball tournament was inaugurated by the French Consul General in Karachi for the promotion of sports.
French Consul General in Karachi Alexis Chahtahtinsky said that the Paris summer Olympics will also be held in France this year, while the special Olympics will also be held at the end of August.
He stressed the need of including positive activities in the routine for a healthy life. He told the participants that he used to participate in basketball, volleyball and tennis including marathons.
He said that this year the Paris Summer Olympics will be held in France from July 26 to August 10 in which international players will participate.
He said that Pakistani athletes will also be a part of this event and represent their country.
