All Necessary cooperation with Chinese investors will be provided, says Sharjeel Inam Memon

Chinese Consul General in Karachi, Yan Yundong, met with Sindh Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon at his office. During the meeting, they discussed the ideal friendship between Pakistan and China, bilateral relations, mutual interests, and the CPEC project. They also talked about the Prime Minister’s recent visit to China, ongoing joint projects between the Sindh government and China in the province, as well as transport projects, including the circular railway in Karachi, among other issues.

During the meeting, Chinese Consul General Yan Yundong informed Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon about the initiatives of the new Chinese government. The Consul General emphasized the significant role of Sindh in the success of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), noting that CPEC aligns with the interests of both China and Pakistan. He also commended the mass transit projects undertaken by the Sindh government.

During the meeting, Sindh Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon briefed Chinese Consul General Yan Yundong about the various initiatives and responsibilities of his ministries. He extended an invitation to the Chinese government and business community to invest in Sindh, highlighting the region’s potential for economic growth and development. Additionally, Sharjeel Inam Memon encouraged the establishment of manufacturing plants in Sindh, offering support and collaboration from the provincial government to facilitate such ventures.

Sindh Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon stated that the Sindh government is eager to initiate joint ventures in the province in collaboration with the Chinese government. He assured that all necessary cooperation with Chinese investors will be provided, emphasizing that their interests will be protected.

He mentioned that the establishment of Chinese manufacturing plants in Sindh will significantly benefit the interests of both China and Pakistan. He emphasized that the government of Pakistan, particularly the Sindh government, is always ready to extend all kinds of cooperation to China.

Sindh Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon praised the Chinese government’s efforts regarding the Karachi Circular Railway. He stated that the CPEC project was initiated due to the efforts of President Asif Ali Zardari, who is personally overseeing the Karachi Circular Railway project. Minister Memon also emphasized that the protection of Chinese citizens is among the government’s top priorities.

During the meeting, Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon presented a gift of Sindhi Ajrak and a cap to the Chinese Consul General, along with a souvenir. In return, the Chinese Consul General also presented a souvenir to Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon.
