England produced a dominant display as they thrashed Croatia 7-0 in the UEFA Nations League on Saturday.
Harry Kane and Bukayo Saka scored twice each. Jude Bellingham added a goal and three assists as England secured their second win in three Group A3 matches.
Anthony Gordon and Morgan Rogers also scored for England.
The result marked Croatia’s heaviest defeat in their history. Their previous biggest loss was a 6-0 defeat against Spain in 2018.
Kane Leads England Rout
Kane opened the scoring after just eight minutes.
The England captain collected Bellingham’s pass before finishing from close range.
The goal was Kane’s 88th for England.

He added another in the second half to take his international tally to 89 goals.
Bellingham doubled England’s lead in the 21st minute.
The Real Madrid midfielder finished a flowing move after Gordon kept Saka’s cross alive inside the box.
Gordon then made it 3-0 before half-time.
The winger headed home from Jarell Quansah’s cross in the 39th minute.
Saka added England’s fourth just before the interval.
Bellingham created the chance before Saka finished from close range.
England Show No Mercy
England continued their attacking display after the break.
Kane scored his second in the 53rd minute after meeting Elliot Anderson’s cross.
Saka then scored again in the 68th minute.
The Arsenal winger finished after receiving a pass from Kane.
Rogers completed the rout in the 87th minute.
He rounded Croatia goalkeeper Dominik Livaković before finishing from Bellingham’s pass.
Bellingham finished the night with three assists alongside his goal.
Tuchel’s Side Strengthen Campaign
The victory gives England six points from their opening three matches in League A, Group A3.
Spain lead the group with nine points after beating Czechia 3-1 on Saturday.
England will face Czechia at Wembley on Tuesday.
The team is targeting a top-two finish and a place in the Nations League quarter-finals.
The match in Rijeka was played behind closed doors because of previous crowd trouble involving Croatia supporters.
Around 6,000 local schoolchildren and about 100 England supporters were allowed to attend.
Despite the subdued atmosphere, England delivered their biggest victory under Tuchel.
The result also gives the manager strong momentum heading into Tuesday’s match at Wembley.
