Karachi: Emirates, the world’s largest international airline, has unveiled its first experiential Travel Store in Karachi, marking the launch of its innovative retail concept in West Asia.

Located in the prestigious Sky Tower on Abdul Sattar Edhi Avenue, Clifton, the 183-square-meter store offers a blend of cutting-edge technology and personalized customer service, redefining the travel retail experience.

Grand Opening Ceremony

The store’s grand opening was led by Essa Sulaiman Ahmad, Emirates’ Senior Vice President for Commercial Operations, West Asia and Indian Ocean. His Excellency Hamad Obaid Ibrahim Salem Al-Zaabi, Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to Pakistan, and His Excellency Bakheet Ateeq Al-Rumaithi, UAE Consul General in Karachi, were also present, highlighting the enduring ties between Pakistan and the UAE. Other attendees included Emirates’ VP for Pakistan, Mohammed Al Nahari Alhashmi, media representatives, and Emirates team members.

Speaking at the event, Essa Sulaiman Ahmad remarked:
“The Emirates Travel Store is a place where travelers can explore our exceptional products and services. We’re excited to bring this innovative retail concept to Karachi, providing customers with a unique glimpse into the Emirates experience and our global destinations. Karachi holds a special place in our history as one of our first destinations since 1985, and this launch underscores our commitment to Pakistan, which we serve with five gateways.”

The Emirates Travel Store offers customers a range of experiences:

  • Flight Reservations and Ticketing: Dedicated customer service counters assist with Emirates flight bookings, Emirates Holidays packages, and Skywards loyalty program inquiries.
  • Interactive Experiences: The store features a selfie mirror with backdrops of Emirates’ top destinations and self-service kiosks for a seamless customer experience.
  • Exclusive Merchandise: Travelers can purchase Emirates-branded products and travel accessories, making it a one-stop shop for travel needs.

Trained staff are available to provide tailored travel advice, helping customers plan trips, book tickets, and manage preferences with ease.
