BMG Starts Election Campaign, 30 Candidates Announced

Karachi: Zubair Motiwala, Chairman of the Businessmen Group (BMG) and Former President of the Karachi Chamber of Commerce & Industry (KCCI), recently introduced 30 BMG candidates for the upcoming KCCI elections. Speaking at a local hotel event, Motiwala emphasized that the selected candidates represent a diverse group of businessmen, industrialists, and small traders.
Motiwala highlighted that the BMG has meticulously nominated candidates to ensure comprehensive representation across all sectors in the KCCI’s Managing Committee. He stated, “We aimed to assemble an exceptional team to effectively address the economic challenges facing us.”
The event also featured remarks from Vice Chairmen BMG Anjum Nisar, Jawed Bilwani, Mian Abrar Ahmed, General Secretary BMG AQ Khalil, and President KCCI Iftikhar Ahmed Sheikh.
Motiwala urged the business community to place their trust in the Businessmen Group, founded by the late Siraj Kassam Teli. He expressed confidence that the BMG would continue its dedicated service under Teli’s vision. “We are committed to maintaining unity among business community members under the BMG’s banner,” he said.
He further encouraged BMG members to start preparations for the KCCI elections, stressing the importance of discipline, unity, and a high voter turnout to secure another victory for BMG. Motiwala acknowledged the role of elections in energizing the group and reaffirmed their commitment to public service.
Looking ahead, Motiwala was optimistic about BMG’s prospects, citing their 25 years of honest and selfless service. He firmly believes that BMG will win not only the upcoming election but future ones as well.
