Karachi: The UAE Embassy and TADAP Chief Executive Zubair Motiwala have announced Pakistan’s first International Date Festival, which is set for October 2024. Notably, UAE Ambassador to Pakistan Hamad Obaid Ibrahim Salem Alzaabi and UAE Consul General in Karachi Dr. Bakheet Ateeq Alremeithi signed the agreement for this event.

According to Dr. Bakheet Ateeq Alremeithi, the festival aims to boost the export of Pakistani dates and enhance the country’s economic conditions. Moreover, the International Date Festival will attract global participants and highlight Pakistani date production.

Additionally, entrepreneurs from around the world will present various types of dates and their production methods. As a result, this event will not only strengthen economic ties between the UAE and Pakistan but also provide significant opportunities to promote and expand date cultivation in the region.
