Bilawal and Ricky Gill Discuss Expanding Pak-U.S. Cooperation

Islamabad: Chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and former Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari met today with Ricky Gill, Senior Director for South and Central Asia at the United States National Security Council (NSC), at Zardari House in Islamabad to discuss strengthening Pakistan-U.S. relations, advancing regional peace, and enhancing trade partnerships.
The meeting was attended by U.S. chargé d’affaires Natalie Baker, First Lady H.E. Bibi Aseefa Bhutto Zardari, and Senator Sherry Rehman. Discussions covered bilateral cooperation, regional security, economic growth, and diplomatic engagement between the two nations.
Chairman Bilawal expressed gratitude to U.S. President Donald J. Trump, through Mr. Gill, for his role in de-escalating recent India-Pakistan tensions, stating that President Trump’s peace efforts deserve global recognition and consideration for the Nobel Peace Prize.
He welcomed the recent trade agreements between Pakistan and the United States, noting their potential to boost economic prosperity in the region, and reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to fostering global trade partnerships.
Mr. Gill praised Bilawal’s leadership and reiterated the U.S. commitment to constructive, long-term engagement with Pakistan across political, economic, and security domains.
