Karachi: First Lady of Pakistan Aseefa Bhutto Zardari welcomed the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to Pakistan, Hamad Obaid Ibrahim Salem Alzaabi, during a high-level meeting held at Bilawal House.
The meeting was also attended by Dr. Bakheet Ateeq Al Remeithi, UAE Consul General in Karachi; Syed Nasir Hussain Shah, Sindh Provincial Minister; and Barrister Murtaza Wahab, Mayor of Karachi.
Discussions revolved around matters of mutual interest, with particular emphasis on strengthening bilateral relations between Pakistan and the UAE. The two sides explored opportunities for expanding cultural and economic cooperation and discussed joint initiatives for social development and public welfare.
Aseefa Bhutto Zardari praised the historic and brotherly ties between Pakistan and the UAE, acknowledging the Emirates’ consistent support for Pakistan’s development and humanitarian efforts.
The visiting dignitaries reaffirmed the UAE’s commitment to deepening collaboration in various sectors and thanked the First Lady for the warm hospitality and opportunity to engage on shared goals.
