Police registered the First Information Report (FIR) on the complaint of Ayesha Jutt. She said she visited the café with her friends on July 25 when the incident occurred.
According to the complaint, two men and two women allegedly harassed one of her friends, which quickly led to an argument. During the confrontation, the complainant said she and her friends tried to intervene to calm the situation.
However, she alleged that the suspects verbally abused her friend before one of them slapped her. She further claimed that Mir Shafi then pulled out a pistol and fired shots during the altercation.
The FIR also alleges that Rajab Butt was present at the scene. It states that he joined the assault and attacked the complainant and her friend during the dispute.
Following the complaint, Nawab Town police registered the case under Sections 354, 506(B), and 337-H(2) of the Pakistan Penal Code.
Police have launched an investigation and are examining the allegations. Authorities have not yet announced any arrests or further legal action.
