Karachi: Meta recently connected with content creators in Karachi through a series of events, including a notable gathering on November 6, which brought together around 40 creators from across Pakistan. Throughout the week, Meta collaborated with influential creators such as Food Fusion, Samosiii, and Osamah Nasir to support content creation and foster growth in the digital space.
Meta’s Commitment to Pakistani Creators
Revie Sylviana, Meta’s Director of Global Partnerships for South and Southeast Asia, shared her excitement about the innovative ways Pakistani creators are using Meta platforms. “We’re thrilled to see Pakistani creators using Meta platforms in innovative ways to build and grow their communities. Although we don’t have a local representative specifically dedicated to supporting creators in Pakistan, our global teams remain committed to providing the tools and resources they need to succeed. We will continue working to empower the vibrant Pakistani creator community, helping them share their stories, showcase unique talents, and connect meaningfully with their audiences,” Sylviana said.
Empowering the Digital Talent in Pakistan
Meta’s engagement with Pakistan’s young digital talent has extended through several events and campaigns. At the “Creators Connect” event, Meta celebrated creators who successfully launched their WhatsApp Channels. The event also featured representatives from Jazz, Pakistan’s largest mobile network and internet services provider, who introduced new data packs for Facebook and WhatsApp, including a daily WhatsApp chat pack and a monthly gaming data pack.
