Pakistan Cultural Festival 2024 Concludes at Habitt City

Karachi: The Pakistan Cultural Festival, organized by Sparks Business Club, has successfully concluded at Habitt City, leaving a significant mark on the city’s cultural landscape. The event was powered by Cosmos Realtor and strategically partnered with Tamiirat Pakistan.

Celebrating Pakistani Talent and Innovation

The festival showcased the best of Pakistan’s talent, innovation, and entrepreneurship. It featured 70 stalls offering a diverse range of “Made in Pakistan” products, including handicrafts, apparel, shoes, jewelry, paintings, food, and more. A highlight was MAAS WORLD INC’s generous donation of 10 free stalls to underprivileged crafters.

Inauguration and Support for Local Artisans

The Chief Guest, Ms. Shaheena Sheer Ali, Minister for Women Development, Sindh, inaugurated the festival. She praised the initiative for promoting local artisans and entrepreneurs, stating, “This platform is crucial for empowering women and marginalized communities.”

Prominent personalities graced the occasion, including:

  • Mr. Razzak Pardesi, Patron-in-Chief, Sparks Business Club
  • Mr. Rauf Tabani, Chairman, Help International
  • Mr. Mahmood Ahmed, Director Star Marketing

Insightful Panel Discussions

The event featured two insightful panel discussions:

  • Panel 1: The Beauty Business
    Panelists Mrs. Naheed Khan, Mrs. Nazia Qasim, and Saba Mohsin shared valuable insights into the challenges and opportunities within the beauty industry.
  • Panel 2: Entrepreneurship and Innovation
    This panel, featuring Mrs. Sarwat Nasim Shah, Naveed Khan, and Syeda Raafia Hasan, highlighted the successes and challenges faced by women entrepreneurs in Pakistan, emphasizing the need for support and empowerment.

Commitment to Local Businesses

Syeda Raafia Hasan, Founder & Chairperson of Sparks Business Club, expressed gratitude to attendees and partners, stating, “This is just the beginning. We will continue to organize events that promote Made in Pakistan products and support our crafters.”

Mr. Jaffer Hussain, Executive Director of Sparks Business Club, emphasized the importance of supporting local businesses: “By promoting Made in Pakistan products, we can create jobs and stimulate growth.”

Mrs. Naghma Aqeel, President of Sparks Business Club, reiterated the organization’s commitment to social responsibility, while Mrs. Sumaira Imran, General Secretary, outlined their global vision to promote Pakistani brands and cultural exchange.

Special Recognition and Contributions

Special appreciation was given to Sakan e Sheeza for purchasing four stalls to promote the work of special needs females, providing them with a platform to showcase their talents.

The organizing team, particularly Mrs. Fouzia Adnan, Ms. Asma Rehman, Ms. Iqra Siddique, Ms. Nariman Khawar, and an energetic team of volunteers, played a crucial role in making the event a resounding success.
