Gold prices declined in the international bullion market on Monday, with the price falling by $24 per ounce to $4,406.
The drop in global prices was reflected in Pakistan, where the rate of 24-karat gold decreased by Rs2,400 per tola to Rs463,136.
The price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also fell by Rs2,058, settling at Rs397,064.
Silver prices followed a similar trend. The price of silver declined by Rs39 per tola to Rs7,059, while 10 grams of silver fell by Rs34 to Rs6,051.

Gold prices in Pakistan generally move in line with international bullion rates. Changes in the rupee-dollar exchange rate can also affect local prices.
The latest decline comes after gold remained at historically high levels, keeping the precious metal in focus among investors, jewellers and consumers.
