The operations targeted militant hideouts across the area. Security forces destroyed several terrorist shelters and recovered a large cache of weapons, ammunition, and other equipment from the militants killed during the action.
Security sources said intelligence reports also indicated that several militants linked to Fitna al-Khawarij sustained injuries during the operations.
Officials said security personnel took extensive precautions throughout the operations to protect civilians and prevent harm to the local population.
