Adidas and Saudia Launch “Made to Fly” Travel Pack in Landmark Sportswear–Aviation Collaboration

Riyadh: Global sportswear giant adidas and Saudi Arabia’s national airline Saudia have jointly unveiled the “adidas x Saudia Made to Fly” travel pack, marking a pioneering collaboration that blends sportswear innovation with aviation-inspired design.

Launched on April 20, the collection introduces a new concept at the intersection of sport, travel, and lifestyle across Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, and Morocco. The partnership aims to connect with a younger generation of consumers who view travel as an extension of personal identity and cultural expression.

Built on adidas’ SOFT LUX line, the collection reimagines the traditional tracksuit as a premium travel essential. The design focuses on minimalist aesthetics, high-quality materials, and refined craftsmanship, offering a balance of comfort and modern style for airport travel, inflight use, and everyday movement.

The collection incorporates subtle aviation-inspired detailing alongside Saudi design elements, reflecting Saudia’s legacy as a national carrier that has connected the Kingdom to the world for over eight decades.

According to Bilal Fares, SVP and General Manager of adidas Emerging Markets Central, the collaboration represents a fusion of heritage and modern mobility. He said the collection elevates adidas’ sportswear identity by integrating Saudia’s deep connection to travel and movement.

Saudia Group Chief Marketing Officer Khaled Tash stated that the partnership reflects the evolution of travel beyond destinations, emphasizing identity, culture, and self-expression. He added that the collaboration aligns with Saudia’s broader brand transformation and expansion into lifestyle and cultural spaces.

The Made to Fly pack is crafted using peached spacer fabric blended with modal and enhanced through a liquid cotton treatment, giving it a soft texture designed for comfort and ease of movement.

The collection is now available in select adidas stores across the participating countries as well as online, positioning itself as a modern travel uniform for a new generation of global travelers.
