11 Indian-Sponsored Terrorists Killed in Balochistan Operations

Security forces killed 11 Indian-sponsored terrorists during intelligence-based operations in Balochistan, according to a press release.

The operations took place in Kharan and Washuk on September 6 and 7, 2026.

According to the statement, the terrorists belonged to what it described as the Indian proxy group Fitna al-Hindustan.

Eight Terrorists Killed in Kharan

On September 6, security forces received information about terrorists attempting to establish a roadblock in Kharan.

The militants allegedly planned to disrupt local traffic.

Security forces responded immediately and engaged the attackers.

The operation resulted in the deaths of eight terrorists, according to the statement.

Three Terrorists Killed in Washuk

Security forces conducted another intelligence-based operation in Washuk on September 7.

The operation followed reports of a terrorist presence in the area.

Troops located and targeted a suspected terrorist hideout.

An intense exchange of fire followed. Security forces killed three terrorists during the operation.

The forces also recovered 2.9 tonnes of explosives from the area.

According to the statement, the explosives were intended for the preparation of improvised explosive devices.

Sanitisation Operations Underway

Security forces have launched sanitisation operations in the surrounding areas.

The operations aim to locate and eliminate any remaining militants.

The statement said the counter-terrorism campaign would continue under the Azm-e-Istehkam framework.

The initiative was approved by the Federal Apex Committee under the National Action Plan.

Zardari, Shehbaz Praise Security Forces

President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif praised the security forces for the operations.

In separate statements, they commended the forces for killing 11 terrorists in Kharan and Washuk.

President Zardari also praised the recovery of 2.9 tonnes of explosives in Washuk.

He said operations against Fitna al-Hindustan would continue until terrorist networks were eliminated.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif praised the forces for preventing the roadblock attempt in Kharan.

He also commended the destruction of the terrorist hideout in Washuk.

The prime minister said counter-terrorism operations against Fitna al-Khawarij and other militant groups would continue with full force.
