Punjab Land Records Services Now Available for Pakistanis in UAE

The Punjab Land Records facility has been launched in the United Arab Emirates to help overseas Pakistanis access land and property-related services without travelling to Pakistan.

The Embassy of Pakistan in Abu Dhabi and the Consulate General of Pakistan in Dubai introduced the service in collaboration with the Punjab Land Records Authority (PLRA).

Pakistan’s Sharks: From National Plan to Action

Both missions have now started issuing Fards, official land ownership records, following the operational launch of the new facility.

The initiative aims to make property-related services more convenient, transparent and accessible for Pakistani nationals living in the UAE. It also brings an important government service closer to the overseas Pakistani community.

The new facility forms part of the government’s wider efforts to improve digital facilitation and expand access to public services for Pakistanis living abroad.

Overseas Pakistanis can contact the 24/7 helplines of the Embassy and Consulate for further information. They can also visit the respective missions during official working hours to access the service.

The launch is expected to reduce the need for overseas Pakistanis to travel to Pakistan for routine land-record matters, while making the process more efficient and accessible.
