Actor Zara Noor Abbas has unveiled the official poster for Gear Up, her segment in the upcoming anthology film Sheroes, offering audiences their first glimpse of her action-oriented role ahead of the teaser’s release on September 8.
Abbas shared the poster on Instagram, appearing in action gear, wearing gloves and holding a gun. The first look marks a departure from many of her previous roles, with the actor portraying a police officer in the film.
Sharing the poster, Abbas described the role as one that challenged and inspired her. She called Gear Up “a story of courage under pressure” and told audiences that the poster was only the beginning, confirming that the teaser would be released on September 8.
Gear Up is one of three standalone stories in Sheroes, an anthology starring Abbas alongside Kinza Hashmi and Ushna Shah. The film’s trailer, released in late August, introduced three women whose individual stories explore different challenges while sharing a broader theme of courage and resilience.

Abbas’ segment appears to be the most action-driven of the three. The trailer shows her character involved in high-speed car chases, a bomb-disposal sequence and scenes at a police station, including her arrival on a motorbike.
The rollout of the individual stories began with Hashmi’s segment, Artist. Its teaser introduced her character alongside Nayyer Ejaz, Nazar Ul Hasan and Ahmad Hassan, suggesting a storyline centred on art and forgery.
Hashmi was also the first of the three leads to unveil her individual poster. Ushna Shah’s segment is expected to receive its own promotional spotlight as the film approaches its theatrical release.
Sheroes brings together three separate stories, allowing each lead to portray a woman navigating a distinctly different world and set of challenges.
The film is scheduled to premiere in cinemas across Pakistan on September 18.
