Federal Urdu University, Abdul Haq Campus, hosted a powerful display of unity during Youm-e-Hussain as Shia and Sunni participants gathered to commemorate the occasion together.

During the event, participants offered the Zuhrain congregational prayers behind respected Sunni scholar Maulana Manzar-ul-Haq Thanvi. The gathering reflected mutual respect, religious harmony and a shared commitment to unity.
Meanwhile, attendees emphasized that the message of Imam Hussain (A.S.) rises above sectarian, religious and ethnic divisions. They said his sacrifice continues to inspire people to uphold truth, justice, compassion and human dignity.
Furthermore, participants described the gathering as a reflection of Pakistan’s spirit of unity and peaceful coexistence. They added that Imam Hussain’s (A.S.) legacy belongs to all humanity and continues to unite people across different backgrounds.
Participants concluded the event by renewing their call for harmony, mutual respect and national unity. They reaffirmed the timeless message that Hussain (A.S.) is for all.
