Karachi: The Luminary Learning Circle Foundation (LLCF) recently hosted Mr. Khalil Ibrahim Basaran, a representative of the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA) under the Republic of Turkiye’s Ministry of Culture & Tourism. Mr. Basaran visited the LLCF’s Javed Miandad Campus, where he witnessed the foundation’s commitment to providing quality education to over 400 students.

Prominent Figures Attend the Visit
The visit was attended by LLCF Chairman and former MNA Mohammed Najeeb Haroon, along with MQM MNA Syed Hafeezuddin Advocate. Together, they showcased LLCF’s unique educational environment.

Organic Kitchen Garden Highlights Sustainable Practices
One of the key attractions was LLCF’s Organic Kitchen Garden, where students plant and nurture their own vegetables. Each plant is labeled with the student’s name, fostering responsibility and environmental awareness. Mr. Basaran expressed admiration for this initiative, calling it an inspiring model that promotes sustainability and hands-on learning.

Tour of School’s Facilities
During the tour, Mr. Basaran also explored other features of the school, including the White Room, dedicated to grooming and personal development, and the in-house kitchen that provides daily meals to students. He was also briefed on LLCF’s comprehensive healthcare program, which extends essential medical services to both students and their families.

Turkish Support for LLCF Initiatives
Praising the initiatives, Mr. Basaran remarked, “The kitchen garden model is truly inspiring, and TIKA is keen to replicate this in other schools we support. The student-teacher ratio and the engagement of students are exceptional. Turkey and Pakistan share a deep brotherhood, and we look forward to supporting more initiatives that strengthen this bond.”

LLCF expressed gratitude for TIKA’s recognition and is eager to explore future collaborations to further its mission of transforming lives through education.
