According to ISPR, more than 4,000 students from grades 9 to 12, representing over 18 cities across Pakistan, are participating in Summer Camp 2026.
During the session, Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry spoke about the country’s internal and external security environment. He also discussed the challenges posed by terrorism and the importance of national unity.
According to ISPR, students received a briefing on what the military described as the role of Fitna al-Hindustan and Fitna al-Khawarij in terrorist activities in Balochistan.
Meanwhile, participants said the session helped them better understand Pakistan’s security challenges and the importance of remaining informed about national issues.
The students also highlighted the growing impact of misinformation and propaganda in the digital age. They stressed the need to raise public awareness, saying false information spreads rapidly through online platforms.
Furthermore, the participants reaffirmed their commitment to stand alongside Pakistan’s armed forces in efforts to counter terrorism and promote national unity.
ISPR said Summer Camp 2026 aims to strengthen national awareness among young people while helping them develop their leadership skills, confidence and overall abilities.
