Sindh Governor Visits Ethiopian Tourism Pavilion at Pakistan Travel Mart 2025
Governor was briefed about Ethiopia’s rich
cultural heritage, its tourism offerings, and the
modern development of capital, Addis Ababa

Karachi: Muhammad Kamran Khan Tessori, Governor of Sindh, visited the Ethiopian Embassy Islamabad’s Tourism Pavilion at the Pakistan Travel Mart 2025 on Saturday. The pavilion, set up to promote Ethiopian cultural diversity and tourism, was warmly welcomed by H.E. Ibrahim Khalid Tawab, Honorary Consul of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia in Karachi, along with embassy staff.
During the visit, the Governor was briefed about Ethiopia’s rich cultural heritage, its tourism offerings, and the modern development of its capital, Addis Ababa. Governor Tessori highlighted the strong bilateral relations between Ethiopia and Pakistan, appreciating the Ethiopian Embassy’s efforts in promoting Ethiopian tourism and culture in Pakistan.
Governor Tessori, who had inaugurated the Ethiopian Tourism Pavilion last year at the Karachi Feast, also had the honor of opening the traditional Ethiopian Coffee Ceremony during this visit. Additionally, the Governor Sindh had previously hosted a grand ceremony at the Governor House to celebrate the Ethiopian New Year.
